So, i saw an ad in the local crap paper for a b-52s concert at the overpriced ross school and thought "wow, what fun that could be", went online to buy some tickets.... until i saw the price ...$500 per ticket!!!!
who the hell do these people think they are!?!?!?! $500 dollars each....another over priced concert to benefit the already wealthy ross school...sure, let me grab my checkbook....guess i'll have to wait to see if these also ending up being free like last year's concerts.

the concert is a fundraiser for the scholarship program - almost HALF the students at the Ross School receive financial aid. Contrary to your perception, most of the students there are not wealthy. This is a benefit that benefits LOCAL CHILDREN (pre-nursery thru high school)- the funds stay in our area, unlike many other fundraisers held in the Hamptons in the summer. Please dont knock this wonderful school. They are very active in the community offering programs and the use of their facilities to the public. By the way, many NY City private schools charge much higher tuition.
Whatever you end up doing, please enjoy your summer. I hope the tickets are not given away to people who do not truly appreciate the concept.
